Last Sunday in London

Today was my last Sunday in church. I thought I would be far more emotional than I was but I think I am just so ready to go home. I will miss my Branch a lot but Claudia and I exchanged emails and I will always have my memories to go with me. After church Alyssa and I walked through the park before dinner. It was lovely outside. Then we had a fireside tonight and the Spirit was so strong. I don't know why but even after such a wonderful meeting I still feel a little blue. The combination of intense stress of finals, the desire to see my family, the unknown of where I am going in life, and the longing for home while still wanting to hold onto London is making me feel really overwhelmed. Normally I should be emotional but it's more like a lack of emotion I have been feeling. I think I will be ready and willing to accept some down time when I get back to The States. Until then it's hard work to the finish and living it up until I leave here next Saturday.

This is for Mckenzie. Her blog was a source of many ideas for things to do during my free time here in London. Now I am copying her lovely photo on her blog.

  2. Such a profound statement, painted right on the road. Think about it. Look to the future and learn from the past. Things will work out. You will have wonderful memories of London but have faith that you also have a wonderful future ahead. Make prayerful choices, have a little faith, and things will work out.
