Today's Observances in London... with a few from yesterday.

  • We live in one of the nicest neighborhoods in London. It's very classy, clean, historic and has lots of cute boutiques. I am starting to feel like I could live here forever...too bad I can't.
  • Everything tastes better when it's purchased from a street vendor or market.
  • One must forsake all other tasks including homework if the sun is shining in London because chances are you can do your homework tomorrow when it is cloudy.
  • Cath Kidston bags are worth spending money on. The real task is picking which one you want.
  • YSA dances are the greatest.
  • Instead of spending money on things like shirts from topshop I should buy a cool antique or some unique dishes to bring home that I can have forever.
  • If you walk by a church GO IN. Some of my favorite moments spent in London have been visiting local Parishes and churches that are peppered all over the city. Today I found perhaps the most welcomg Catholic Parish. it's called St. Mary of the Angels and it's nestled right into a negihborhood. As we approched it the bells starting ringing. It was pretty magical.
  • Walk by hummingbird cafe on Portabello road, it will make you feel happy instantly, even if you don't buy cake.
  • When large groups are gathered outside of pubs in black outfits, they are watching the All Blacks game at the local pub and rabble rowsing even as early as 11 am... if you are in Camden however and see people in all black crazy outfits, they probably aren't their to support their favorite rugby team.
  • Bread pudding at Portabello market is a very British food.

In case you ever want to see my favorite church here is a mapCath Kidston bag. Yes or No?
