A new kind of post...

This is an idea I stole from Ana/Laura. Thanks for the inspiration.

To London,
Sorry I ever doubted that you were so cool. I truly love you now. If possible I would never leave you... unfortunately that's not possible

To the parents in my Spanish Branch,
You guys have super cute kids...until they start swearing in my primary class. The only solution I have found to prevent such colorful outbursts is to bring food. Help me out please.

To Marcello (the cook here at the Centre),
If you stop making such good food, I'll stop eating seconds. Deal?

To Abby,
Congrats on getting into BYU. Word of advice: make sure you don't get a ward full of biochemistry freshmen academy boys...it'll help your social life. I speak from experience.

Dear Lent,
Um I'm not Catholic but I will give up using facebook Monday-Saturday just for you. Chocolate on the other hand is too much to ask.

Dear Blog,
Thanks for always listening to me. Also, thanks for helping me keep my facebook cravings under control.

Dear new Nicholas Sparks movies,
your trailers are pretty heart-renching. I just might go see you when I get home even though I know you might make me cry. Also... If Miley Cyrus is going to star in one of your movies, Don't let her sing the entire soundtrack please. It's too cliche...then again so are Nicholas Sparks movies.

Dear life,
Sometimes I feel like the moment I got over here everyone and their dog got engaged. What's up with that? I miss all the fun and excitement of losing my friends to marriage.

Dear President Phillips,
Thanks for the incredible fireside last night. I haven't felt the spirit so strongly since I have been in London. Also, you're kids are the cutest and I am sure you have taught them not to swear which =bonus points.

Dear Imperial War Museum,
Your Holocaust exhibit is pretty well constructed. I'm grateful for my life and for those who have suffered and died so I can live free of terrors and genocide. But a word of advice.... you should make the "war time foods and victory gardens" exhibit free. It might cheer up the depressed visitors if you didn't rob us of three pounds right after exiting the exhibit showing the atrocities of Hitler's regime.

Dear black flats I bought before coming here,
Why'd you decide to start giving me blisters today? I mean you seemed to like my feet when we first got here but you and my pinky toes are quite literally rubbing each other the wrong way.

Dear Caitlin's sandwich maker,
You had quite the effect on me last semester. R.I.P.

That's all.
Love, Rachel
